Member of Parliament for Zebila Constituency, Cletus Apul Avoka says, promises he made in his 2020 campaign to his constituents were premised on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) winning the elections.
According to Mr. Avoka, if the NDC had won the 2020 elections , he would have localised the implementation of his party’s manifesto as presented by John Mahama in his constituency.
The NDC MP in his 2020 general election campaigns ,promised to address sanitation security, health education among other challenges in the Zebila Constituency if given the mandate.
And with these promises , he was able to take back the seat he lost to Frank Fuseini Adongo in 2016.
But in an interview on Starrfm monitored by A1radionline.com, the Zebila lawmaker said, notwithstanding his party’s inability to secure a win in the elections, he will try his best to deliver.
” The promises I made to the people of Zebilla Constituency were premised on president John Mahama winning. That notwithstanding, I am focused on delivering on the key promises – rural electrification and youth empowerment” he said.
