He said, the master plan is in line with the vision of government under the “Growing Together” initiative which is geared towards transforming the economy to propel economic growth in the various regions.

Mr. Gambila explained that, the master plan covers areas such as agric infrastructure, transportation, agro-processing, urban development and light industrial park among others.

He said, at a certain time the NDA lost its focus which negatively affected the development of the northern sector of the country and it was time to work hard to realign the objective of the NDA so that the needed development will get to the north.

He appealed, to the finance minister to study the master plan and incorporate it into his decision to empower the NDA to develop the northern zone.

The minister of finance, Ken Ofori-Atta expressed gratitude to the NDA for coming out with a master plan and promise to give his attention to the document since the Nana Addo government is much concerned about the development of the north.
