“The reason we adopted the cashless offer was that we have dealt with some women in the past and realized that some of them often collect the loans and will not make good use of the money. And at the end, they will run into debt.

“So, with this cashless offer, what we do is, they come, and tell us their plans; what they want to use the money on as some will say they will want to farm maize and others too will say rice. So we will sit with them, trained them on how they should go about it.”

Explaining the number of beneficiary women that are doing business with the bank regarding the cashless offer, the manager stated that over 80 women groups in the Builsa District are currently doing business with them.

He, however, called on women farmers to see the farming activity as a business and devour to make the the the higher height of it.
