Member of Parliament for the Damongo Constituency, Samuel Abu Jinapor has commissioned the first ever office complex for the member of Parliament for the constituency.
The commissioning of the office complex was marked with recitations of the Holy Quran by Islamic Clerics from Laribanga muslim community.
Speaking at the commissioning of the facility, Mr Jinapor said the main purpose for building the office is to create the space for constituents to reach out to him, their elected member of Parliament to enable him fully appreciate their concerns, preoccupations and aspirations.
Mr Jinapor who is also the minister of land and natural resource indicated that until such time that the Damongo Constituency puts up a befitting Community Centre, his office will serve as a free centre for all social events within the constituency.
Present at the commissioning of the office complex were the two deputy ministers of land and natural resources, Benito Owusu Bio member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency in the Ashanti Region and George Mireku Duker member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuem, regional and constituency executives of the NPP in the Savannah Region.
The office complex which is made from a fabricated 40ft containers will serve as an avenue to interact with constituents about their concerns regardless of their political affiliation.
