The women’s wing of the People’s National Convention (PNC) has petitioned the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to investigate the General Secretary of the party, Janet Asana Nabla for her plans to cause mayhem in the party.
This comes after Madam Nabla in a recent engagement with journalists stated that she will be forced to take the laws into her own hands if the security agencies in the country fail to call David Apasera, the party’s 2020 flag-bearer, to order.
According to her, Mr. Apasera has been using his “boys” to threaten her and cause instability in the party.
But a petition to the CID, signed by the National women’s Organizer of the PNC, Hidaya Ibrahim, said the women’s wing and the part do not support the utterances of the suspended General Secretary. Hence, her comments must be interrogated.
