The Ghana Medical association may end its two weeks rift with government over their conditions of service after a scheduled meeting which will be held tomorrow.

The strike embarked on by members of the association has entered its third week with threats of total resignation en masse on Friday August 14.

The strike action has taken a devastating effect on the public with some lives lost at various hospitals in the country.

A source from the association says the GMA will meet tomorrow to consider other options other than resigning. It is however unclear what the outcome of the meeting and decision might be.

Meanwhile the health minister has called on retired doctors to intervene in the wake of the crisis after several lives have been lost.
