Khan Issahaku Jambeidu, the Upper East Regional Coordinator of the Nation Builders’ Corps (NABCO) has dispelled rumours that he is making preparations to contest for a position at NPP’s Regional Election in the coming months.

Speaking on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East, Mr Jambeidu said “I want to put it on record that I am not lacing my boots [to contest at the regional level]. Some issues have come up regarding whether I was going to contest or not to contest. People call you and they ask you questions you do not even know where they are coming from. I just want to put it on record that with this particular contest, I will not be going into it”.

He said, rather, he has thrown his weight behind the current National Deputy Director of TESCON Salahu-Deen Musah Alkhomeni who is contesting for the position of Regional Youth Organiser for the New Patriotic Party.

He said claims of his interest in the contest and all others that have come up are figments of people’s imaginations.
