The Bolgatanga Municipal Chief Executive Rex Asanga has hinted that the Assembly is planning to go after houses without toilet facilities in the Municipality.
Speaking to A1 Radio’s on ‘Zina Yela’ on January 10, 2022, the MCE noted with concern that, many houses within the municipality do not have toilet facilities, a situation, he believes make residents vulnerable to many health-related illnesses.
According to Mr. Asanga, it is important for all landlords in the Municipality to provide toilet facilities in their various houses for their tenants. He announced that his administration will not take issues relating to sanitation lowly in the municipality.
The Municipal Chief Executive said, it is also illegal for houses to be operational without toilet facilities for tenants, therefore the Assembly, will in its first meeting in 2022, will consider measures that can eradicate this canker in the municipality.
