The Bolgatanga Girls Senior High School has won a slot in the next stage of the Upper East Regional Qualifiers for the National Science and Maths Quiz.
The Bolga Girls’ SHS joins Bongo SHS, Sandema SHS and the Navrongo Senior High Schools.
Bolga Girls’ SHS was a dominant force right from the beginning of the competition to the end amassing a total tally of 35 points. They beat their closest contenders, Azantilow SHTS by a whopping 10 points.
Day 2 of the Regional Qualifiers continues tomorrow. There will be two additional contests until a grand one to determine the schools that represent the Upper East Region at the regional competition.
