The Serial Callers Association of Upper East Region (SCAUE) has thrown its support behind Dr. Moses Kwabena Atinga and Jerry Asamani for the position of the New Patriotic Party’s chairman for the Upper East Region.

The NPP in the region goes to the polls on Friday, 27th May, 2022, to elect regional executives to steer the affairs of the party.

Ahead of the much-awaited contest, the Serial Callers Association of Upper East Region says either Dr. Atinga or Mr. Asamani is competent enough to lobby for projects for the region and therefore the NPP delegates should choose between these two candidates as the next chairman of the party.

“We call on delegates to elect aspirants that are capable of lobbying for projects to help develop the Upper East to reduce poverty. The Upper East Region is still lagging behind when it comes to development and we hope electing the right people will help develop the Upper East. We are calling on delegates to consider the following in their choice when voting in the chairmanship race. We call on delegates to either consider Dr. Moses Atinga or Mr. Jerry Asamani because any of them can help develop the Upper East.”

This was contained in a statement signed by the President of the Serial Callers Association of Upper East Region, Issahak Mubarik Mbaba. The association is made up of serial callers from all political parties in the country.

Mr. Mbaba who is widely known as Landlord in the statement believes retaining Cletus Ayambire Innocent or electing Amadu Mogtar Bagya as the regional secretary of the NPP can help develop the Upper East Region.

For the Youth Organizer race, the association said “both Miss Hannah and Mr. Salahu-Deen have the capability and any of them can help Upper East.”

The Serial Callers Association of Upper East Region thinks the organizer position is the pivot of the party and Charles Taleog Ndanbon is the best candidate to lead in that position.

While wishing all aspirants the best of luck in the contest, the leadership of the association encourages members of the NPP family to comport themselves especially the delegates for a peaceful and successful accident-free congress.

The association congratulated the NPP on the successful conduct of polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, and constituency executives and “encourage them to push for the development of their various constituencies and the region at large.”
