Following the spillage of the Bagre Dam, farmlands along the White Volta in Bawku West District, Bawku Municipal, Binduri District, Nabdam District, and Talensi Districts have been flooded.
NADMO officials say the water flowing has been flowing at an increasing rate. This is according to readings of the water level at the White Volta River at Pwalugu.
Meanwhile, Operation Thunderboat from the NADMO, a disaster management mission together with officials from the Marine are stationed at identifiable danger zones.
