True Life Stories Don’t Make Wonderful Movies – Ujezu

Multiple awards winning Nigerian actor Ujezu J. Ujezu fondly known in the showbiz fraternity as Mr. Surplus has revealed that true life stories do not make good movies without a blend of creativity and fiction.

A graduate of Public Administrative Management at the University of Nigeria who plays very daring roles in movies, Ujezu appears best at acting the role of a cultist.

Speaking to Worshipper on the Work and Happiness Show on A1 Radio from his base in Nigeria, the celebrated actor said he does not like to shoot a movie based on true life stories.

“I create my films from fictions and then try as much as possible to blend them to reality of life so there could be a morale or family lesson out of it.” He added.

Ujezu further explained that true life story based movies don’t make wonderful films because movie is all about tasking the brain of people and it’s also about creating and resolving conflict.

Some of his popular movies include Secret Billionaires, Maggot In Apple, 9 Disciples, Strange Bullets and more.

Playing multiple roles as an Actor, Director and Film Maker, he disclosed that he is a highlife singer and his song ‘’Nigeria is one’’ has become the nation’s theme song.

Ujezu J.Ujezu started his acting career as far as in secondary school but broke through Nollywood professionally in 2005 with Lion’s Cage, a very serious actor whose act and mannerism portrays a true African.
