Ghana’s award winning star Disc Jockey, DJ Mensa The Untouchable, has been nominated for the 2nd Annual African Awards USA as a contender for the Best DJ of the year.
The event titled is to showcase and recognize the enormous talents of people of the African descent who have made positive and selfless contributions to the betterment of Africans in the homeland as well as in the Diaspora.
The 2nd Annual African Awards is at the Georgia Public Broadcasting Studio C on August 31, 2013, at 7:00pm.
DJ Mensa, who has been nominated for the Artiste DJ of the Year at the African Global DJ Awards coming up in July in Nigerian, says, “this is recognition of hard work paying off”.
In an interview with GHLive.com said he was very honored for just being nominated for such a prestigious award among thousands of DJ’s on the African continent, and believes he has a high chance of winning.
DJ Mensa would be vying for the Best DJ of the year spot with;
DJ Akuaa – Ghana
DJ Sam I Am- Sierre Leone
DJ Folly Focus – Kenya
DJ Afoo – Nigeria
DJ Legin – Montserrat

We have gathered is preparing to drop a new mix tape dubbed Azonto Vol. 2 and will be releasing a single from the mix tape which features Sarkodie very soon.
Sarkodie’s official disc jockey is scheduled to wow some clubs this summer while doing a few stops with the Rapperholic man.
Sources in the London say the Disc Jockey is expected to make some stops at the party in the park on August 3rd, the Ghana music awards in London on August 9th and Ohio on August 20.
