Renowned Radio/Event DJ, DJ Gizzy known in real life as Musah Abdul Fatawu has cautioned artistes in the Upper East Region to respect the DJs.
Speaking exclusively on Entertainment Zone on A1 Radio, he said artistes have the habit of sending their songs to DJs through chat platforms like WhatsApp and not in a good format.
“Artistes will send you their songs on WhatsApp and mostly in an audio form and not MP3 which is much easier to access. Some even send you audiomack links to stream from their which to me is not right”
He further cautioned artistes to learn to treat DJs right “ the artistes will sometimes come to call you for promotions and interviews and in the end won’t consider anything for the DJ in the end. They should understand we buy data downloads and fuel. They should learn to treat us right”.
The show which was hosted by Mr. Lexis had Dj Aluther also as a panel over the weekend.
