On September 18, 2023, Daniel Mahama, the Parliamentary Candidate representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the upcoming 2024 election in the Talensi Constituency, donated a 43-inch Akai Led Plasma television and a DSTV decoder, valued at GHS 3661.00, to Tongo Senior High/Technical School.
Mr. Mahama’s support has been long running and includes providing furniture and financial assistance for its establishment committee. During his address, he encouraged students to persevere in their academic pursuits despite obvious setbacks.
Mr. Thomas Apana, the school’s headmaster, expressed gratitude for the donation and noted Mr. Mahama’s consistent support since 2015.
Hon. Mahama’s visit was attended by key figures, including his Constituency Chairman, John Millim, Communication Officer Michael Nangena, Youth Organizer Isaac Yindana, and Deputy, Prince Yindana.
