The Navrongo Central Member of Parliament, Sampson Tangombu Chiragia, has pledged his unwavering commitment to working closely with the parliamentary candidate, Simon Aworigo, in the area to ensure a resounding victory for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming 2024 elections.
According to him, the aim is for the party to come to power, and he will ensure that the PC and the NDC, as a party in the constituency, work closely to achieve that goal. The MP made this commitment at the constituency event, where he donated GHc 4,000 to the Navrongo Central Constituency Executive Committee. He stated that the cash donation was intended to bolster efforts to mobilize voters, particularly in the wake of the just-ended voter registration exercise.
He used the platform to urge all party members to channel their energy into working towards victory, emphasizing the critical role that unity and collaboration play in achieving the common objective.
“Victory for the NDC in Navrongo Central is not an option; it’s a necessity. We must all come together, put our hands on deck, and work tirelessly to secure this victory in the 2024 elections. Above all, the victory of the NDC is non-negotiable and must be delivered at all costs in December 2024 to kick out the failed and disappointing Akuffo Addo-Bawumia government.”
The MP also made a donation of GHc 1,000 to the Chiana-Paga Executive Committee.
He passionately appealed to party members to take advantage of the vote transfer and voter ID replacement exercise seriously, as that will ensure a victory for the NDC come December 2024.
