The Bolgatanga Municipal Assembly has awarded a contract for the reconstruction of a deplorable road at the hospital bungalow in the Bolga-Soe community.

The 1.2-kilometer stretch, which has been a source of frustration for residents due to its deteriorated condition, is poised to undergo a transformative makeover under Malsons Company Limited.

Speaking to the media, the Municipal Chief Executive, Rex Asanga, expressed confidence in the company’s ability to execute the project efficiently.

According to him, the deplorable nature of the road has not only hampered daily commutes for residents but also posed challenges for emergency services accessing the hospital bungalow.

He added that the road construction is expected to be completed in a 9-month construction period, providing much-needed relief to the community.

Mr. Asanga, however, issued a caution to Malsons Company Limited to prioritize quality work to ensure the longevity and sustainability of the reconstructed road.

The road is also expected to have a bitumen surface.

In response to the call for quality, Mahamoud Iddrisu, the representative from Malsons Company Limited, assured the Municipal Chief Executive and the community of their dedication to delivering top-notch work.

He pledged that the company would adhere to the specified timelines and complete the project within 9 months.
