Philanthropist and parliamentary aspirant for the Zebila Constituency, Dr. John Kingsley Krugu, has reassured the public and beneficiaries of the Butt-Tis Buuri Scholarship Fund, that it will continue to support students regardless of the outcome of the upcoming elections.
The Butt-Tis Buuri Scholarship Fund, named “Plant for the family for tomorrow” in the local Kusal language, commenced its journey with an initial seed capital of GHC 100,000.
Since its inception, he said the fund has made significant strides in providing educational opportunities to deserving students. Additionally, it has already supported 50 students for the 2023/2024 academic year, empowering them to pursue their dreams and aspirations.
Speaking on A1 Radio, Dr. Krugu expressed his commitment to the cause, adding that he seeks to foster education as a means of empowerment and societal development.
He assured the public that, win or lose, the Butt-Tis Buuri Scholarship Fund will remain steadfast in its commitment to providing educational opportunities for deserving students.
Dr. Krugu expressed gratitude for the widespread support the fund has received and highlighted the positive impact it has had on the lives of the beneficiaries.
