The Electoral Commission is expected to inaugurate Registration Review Committees tomorrow. The Committees would be inaugurated across the country to help deal with challenges raised at the various registration centers.
This came to light when the Upper East Regional Director for the Electoral Commission, William Obeng Adarkwa, spoke to Mark Smith on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show today, May 14, 2024.
“Tomorrow, officially, is the day for the inauguration of such Registration Review Committees throughout the country. We are praying and hoping that just after their inauguration, they would be in full flight to address some of the challenges that have so far been recorded in some of the areas,” he said.
Mr. Obeng Adarkwa commended the two major political parties for their contributions in making the limited voter registration exercise a success thus far.
“They are crisscrossing the country, particularly this region, and updating us on what is happening and all that,” he said.
