The former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is expected in the Upper East Region on Friday, August 2, 2024.
On Saturday, August 3, 2024, Mr. Mahama would begin a four-day tour. The former President would touch base with all party faithful and prospective voters in all 15 constituencies in the Upper East Region and the Mamprugu-Moagduri District in the North East Region during the period.
Upper East Regional Communication Officer for the NDC, Jonathan Abdallah Salifu, shared this information when he spoke on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East Show today, Thursday, August 1, 2024.
“We would start the activities from the eastern bloc. The first thing is to pay a courtesy call on the Bawku Naba, after which he will have a rally in Bawku and proceed to Pusiga. He will pay a courtesy call on the Pusiga Naba and have an activity there. Then he would go to Tempane and Garu.”
Mr. Mahama is expected to visit Binduri and Zebilla to complete the eastern bloc. The former president would then touch base with party faithful in Nabdam and Bolgatanga East.
On the third day, the NDC’s flagbearer would visit Chiana-Paga and Navrongo Central. On the final day, the President would touch base with party faithful in Talensi, Bongo, go to the North East Region, and finalize the tour in the Builsa South and Builsa North Constituencies.
He urged party faithful to rally behind the former president and make the tour a success.
