Catherine Adutwumwaa Owusu Sakyi, known in the showbiz circles as Kati G, has said she relishes collaboration with self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale.
The sultry singer mentioned that her desire to collaborate with Shatta Wale emanates from the fact that Shatta Wale is an intuitive and creative artiste whose consistency is unrivaled.
“The artiste I will like to collaborate with on the local scene is Shatta Wale because he is one artiste who is very consistent when it comes to producing hits for his fans.”
The artiste noted that a major problem bedeviling the Ghana Music industry was the fact that most artistes do not exhibit Ghanaian culture but mentioned that her music was going to focus on portraying Ghanaian culture.
The artiste who described herself as a versatile artiste believes she is ready to conquer the world with her music but acknowledged that she can do that only through hard work and perseverance.
On payment of ‘Payola’ to Radio Presenters and Djs as an upcoming artiste, Kati G who has spent most of her life in United States noted that “that is not the culture when you go to the States but in Ghana things are different, it is a necessity.”
She urged Ghanaians to love and push Ghanaian music.
