Mr. Adongo, who was accompanied by his executives and some party supporters, submitted his papers amidst cheers. He highlighted his achievements in the constituency, including improvements in healthcare and education, and pledged to do more if re-elected.

The MP’s nomination filing was marked by a procession through the streets of Bolgatanga, with supporters waving NDC flags and banners.

“We are going to launch our campaign very soon, and everyone will be involved—from the polling station and electoral area to the constituency. I assure you that in this election, we are not just going to win; we are going to increase the votes for both parliamentary and presidential races,” he stated.

Joseph Yamin, the NDC National Organizer, who joined the Bolgatanga Central MP in filing his nomination, called on members and executives of the party to work hard and ensure the party wins the upcoming election convincingly.
