President John Dramani Mahama is expected to arrive in the Upper East Region on Sunday July 10 to kick start his ‘Accounting to the People Tour’ in the Region.

The President’s earlier scheduled visit to the region on June 6 was suspended with reports suggesting that there was “nothing” the president was coming to account for.

The New Patriotic Party as a result of this development organized a Press Conference to express its frustrations with regards to the President’s failure to extend his ‘Accounting to the People’s Tour’ to the region, calling on the people of the Region to punish the NDC come November 7.

But a deep throat source at the Regional Coordinating Council has disclosed to A1RADIOONLINE.com that the President will be in the region on July 10 to start the three-day tour of the Region.

According to the source, the President is expected to inspect some projects including District Assembly structures in newly created Districts, Nabdam and Binduri. He is also expected to cut sod for the construction of the controversial Bolga-Bawku road among others.
