The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga-East Constituency, Dr. Dominic Ayine, has urged voters in the constituency to make informed and decisive choices in the upcoming December 7 elections.
Describing the polls as a pivotal moment for both the constituency and the nation, he encouraged citizens to prioritize integrity and a commitment to development when selecting their leaders.
In an interview on A1 Radio, Dr. Ayine emphasized the importance of carefully evaluating the track records of candidates vying for leadership positions.
He stressed that these evaluations should focus on candidates’ ability to deliver meaningful development projects and uphold integrity in their work.
“Integrity and the desire for development are essential qualities that should guide voters as they decide who to entrust with leadership. These are crucial for ensuring that the constituency and the country move forward,” Dr. Ayine stated.
The legislator, who is seeking re-election on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), outlined his achievements in the constituency during his tenure.
He highlighted significant developmental progress under his leadership, including improvements in education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
Dr. Ayine cited the construction of educational facilities, the provision of essential healthcare services, and the drilling of boreholes as some of his key contributions to the constituency.
He assured voters of his continued dedication to addressing their needs if given another term in office.
“We have made strides in many areas, and I remain committed to doing more for Bolgatanga-East. My focus has always been on improving the lives of my constituents, and I believe our collective efforts can bring even greater change with John Mahama as President,” he affirmed.
Dr. Ayine urged voters to avoid being influenced by empty promises and instead support candidates with proven track records and a genuine interest in advancing the constituency’s development.
He also reiterated the importance of peace and unity during the election period, encouraging all stakeholders to foster a harmonious environment for free and fair elections.
