A fire has gutted parts of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency office in Talensi, located in the Upper East Region. The blaze started around 2:30 a.m. and destroyed a section of the building, including the main hall. Items such as plastic chairs, documents, and party files were completely burnt in the incident.
According to Michael Nangena, the Constituency Communication Officer, while the fire caused significant damage, some materials—such as desktop computers in other parts of the building—were saved. He spoke to A1 Radio.
Nangena also indicated that the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
