The Headmaster of Zamse Senior High/Technical School, Simon Anaba Amaligah Zamse, has made a passionate appeal to the government for support in addressing the school’s infrastructural challenges.

During a visit by the Upper East Regional Minister, Donatus Akamugri Atanga, Mr. Anaba took the opportunity to highlight the many difficulties faced by the institution, which continue to hinder effective teaching and learning.

According to the headmaster, Zamse SHS is grappling with serious infrastructural deficits, including a lack of adequate furniture for classrooms, the dining hall, and science laboratories. The school is also in dire need of reliable transportation to support academic and administrative activities.

“We are pleading with the government to support the school with these basic necessities,” Mr. Anaba said. “All we have are just inadequacies. So, we are pleading with the government to come to the aid of the institution.”

The visit by the Regional Minister was part of his broader tour of schools across the region during the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) period. The engagement provided a platform for the school to bring its most urgent needs to the attention of regional authorities.

Mr. Donatus Akamugri Atanga assured the headmaster that he would communicate the concerns to the appropriate government departments and agencies for prompt attention and support.
