Johnson Ayine, a seasoned communications team member and former Deputy Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper East Region, has described himself as the party’s “memory chip” in the region.
He cited his vast knowledge and experience in providing critical information and data for political debates and discussions. “As a region, I don’t boast, but it’s an overwhelming fact that I’m like a computer or a memory chip of the NPP communication in the region,” he said.
Speaking on A1 Radio, Johnson Ayine, who has declared his intention to contest for the position of Regional Communications Officer, explained that his two decades of experience in party politics, community organization, and communications make him a reliable source of political information for many.
“I’m the source of information. I remember our opposition days before 2016. Alhaji Abu would call and say, ‘Johnson, we don’t want you to ever fail to appear on Monday’s program.’ When you went on the program, you would talk, and we would then also get informed and build our arguments on the revelations you made,” he recalled.
According to Mr. Ayine, he has a proven track record of promoting the NPP’s agenda and policies in the Upper East Region. He expressed confidence in his ability to lead the communications team to the admiration of the party, its members, and the public.
