Member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) communications team and former Deputy Regional Communications Director in the Upper East Region, Johnson Ayine, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Regional Communications Officer.
In an interview with A1 Radio, Mr. Ayine appealed for support from the party to strengthen and uplift its communication in the region.
The former Deputy Regional Communications Director emphasized that effective communication is the engine of growth for any organization, including political parties. He believes that with his experience and passion for communication, he can inject new energy into the regional communications team. His approach, he said, will focus on motivation and human resource development rather than relying solely on financial solutions.
According to Mr. Ayine, his more than a decade of experience in political communication in the Upper East Region demonstrates his commitment. He noted that his leadership skills and vision could lift the NPP’s communication efforts in the region to new heights.
“I do believe, with a strong conviction, that when I am given the opportunity, the communication of NPP in the region will be uplifted higher than what it is today,” he stated.
Mr. Ayine further revealed that the NPP’s communications team in the region has been confronted with several challenges. If elected, he pledged to address issues such as motivation and orientation for communicators to ensure effective political messaging for the party.
