The Member of Parliament for Talensi, Daniel Dung Mahama, has donated a television and mattresses to the district fire service office. The donation was made in response to an appeal by the fire service for equipment to support their work.

The MP noted that the fire service still has other pressing needs, including a new fire tender and a district vehicle. He also mentioned plans for a new fire service station as part of the 24-hour market project.

The Talensi District Chief Executive, John Millim Nabwomya, praised the MP’s efforts, describing him as a “workaholic” and “God-sent.” He thanked the MP for various donations, including medical supplies to the district hospital and appointment letters to constituency members, adding, “We cannot thank him enough.”

ADO1 Ivy Adogba, speaking on behalf of the Talensi Ghana National Fire Service Command, expressed appreciation to the MP for the gesture and pledged the service’s continued commitment on duty.
