Zorkor United SC were officially crowned Zone One winners on Friday, 27th February 2026, despite losing 2–1 to GFA Elite Academy in their coronation match.
The team won Zone One of the Upper East Regional Division Two League after finishing top of the table with 36 points out of a possible 42. They secured the title with a 1–1 away draw against Tilli Awarey Stars on the final day of the season.
Zorkor United SC played 14 matches, recording 12 wins and two draws in an impressive unbeaten campaign.
Following the coronation match, the players and technical team received a trophy and medals from the Executive Council of the Upper East Regional Football Association.
The team’s next task is to prepare for the Middle League, with the Regional Football Association yet to announce the commencement date.
