Contemporary Gospel Artiste, Cwesi Oteng has asked Ghanaians to expect more from him this year as he has prepared adequately in the previous years to take the world by storm this year.
Cwesi Oteng who was speaking to Kofi Asante on A1Radio’s midmorning show, Work and Happiness said: ” we were doing a lot in previous years and this year is when we think we are ready to bring them out. This year, we are throwing in a lot. We intend to throw in songs and videos every month and in March we will move it to weekly releases. We intend to work hard for God this year”.
Asked whether the songs he intends to release are already recorded, the artiste mentioned that “no, but that is the easiest thing to do. However, I have recorded some songs two years ago and I was just waiting and I feel I am ready now. So when we are about to release them you will get to hear”.
Cwesi Oteng however, indicated that as the year goes forward, the strategy may change and the release could be on any day his team feels like they want to release a song adding that the first song to be released this year is ‘Testify’, a song he recorded in London with two Nigerian artistes and that will be ready before the end of January.
On whether he intends featuring some foreign artistes this year, Cwesi mentioned that his work this year will not be about the collaborations but the relevance of his work to Ghana and the world.
