I have no gold nor silver to appreciate the wonderful humanitarian work and sacrifice Ahmed Isah of Brekete Family is rendering to the ordinary Nigerian citizens both home and abroad.

I have not had the opportunity to meet with this gifted and wonderful personality yet, but watching him live on Facebook and other social media, for me, is a great opportunity.

Who else can come out boldly in our fatherland, Nigeria, to fight and tackle corruption without wearing any religious lenses than the “Ordinary President” Ahmed Isah?

In January 2016, among sixty countries measured in the inaugural report, Nigeria was number 1 in the corruption ranking index. The West African country, widely regarded as the “Giant of Africa”, scored 10 in corruption. Nigeria’s overall rank was 57 on the index.

Truthfully, reading the published corruption report by BAV, a global consulting firm and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, makes me shed tears as a Nigerian.

Especially looking at the quantum of corruption in public offices, I asked myself, when will Nigeria’s name be dissociated from corruption and be associated with honesty?

I feel so proud sitting beside my internet connection watching this true son of Nigeria, Ahmed Isah, putting smiles, hope, and comfort on the faces of the ordinary Nigerians around the world, who have been cheated in one way or the other, by these so-called ‘big men’ in high offices.

I have searched in and around Nigeria, today and the past, there is no patriotic media house, be it government or private that has shown care and love to its citizens like Brekete Family.

I checked around the world and even in Nigeria, I have not come across a program such as Brekete Family, even as a media practitioner myself.

Since the introduction of this remarkable program, the “Ordinary President” Ahmad Isah, has been able to say aloud, the ills in the government and private institutions. It was for the sake of Brekete Family that hundreds of unfairly sacked Civil Servants got their jobs back, with increment in their remunerations.

However, Ordinary Ahmad Isah of Brekete Family has fought for the aged who has been denied their pension by top officials, after rendering their service to our fatherland for many years.

HERE IS MY WORRY,

My father, I mean my own father, has not received his pension wages 10 years after his retirement with Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in 2006; it sounds so strange isn’t it? But it might be, maybe because we have no one in INEC to fight for my innocent father. God will surely judge the wicked.

I have tried my possible best as a son, fighting for my father’s pension wages from Ghana, where i reside, connecting the INEC Head Office in Abuja, every now and then, but it has been all promises; that my father money will be paid in few months and these promises started since 2008, when my father raised an alarm.

But unfortunately, early 2016 when I contacted the same person I have been in contact with at the INEC Head office, name ‘withheld’, he confidently told me that, the Head Office was no longer responsible for paying my father pension wages and that my father should go to the National Pension Commission (PENCOM). I was very shocked and bored after hearing such news from the same INEC official who initially assured me even in 2015 that, he will be paying the money in my father’s account, since he has all his account information.

To me, it is very obvious that, this same INEC Official at the Finance Office in Abuja has tampered with my father’s wages following his utterance and posture. But am very confident that the battle is the Lord’s and my family will be victorious at the appointed time.

In short, am very confident that, the “Ordinary President” Ahmed Isah, with his love for justice and respect for Human Rights, will surely fight the rest of fight for my father.

Ordinary Ahmad Isah of Brekete Family, I am very proud of you as a Nigerian residing in Ghana, and proud to be one of your followers.

Long live Ahmad Isah

Long live Brekete Family

Long live Nigeria
