Alima Mahama, Agyarko and others to be vetted today

Four more Ministerial Nominees will face Parliament’s Appointment Committee today to go through vetting.

The Committee has so far vetted just six out of thirty-six nominees who were named by President Akufo-Addo to fill various Ministerial Portfolios.

The four who will be facing the Appointment committee today include Hajia Alima Mahama, who is headed for the Ministry for Local Government and Rural Development, and Dr. Afriyie Akoto, the nominee for the Ministry of Agriculture.

Others are Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng who has been nominated as Minister of Trade and Energy Minister nominee, Boakye Agyarko.

Out of thirty-six nominees, the Committee has vetted six which includes Ken Ofori-Atta for Finance Ministry, Osafo Marfo for Senior Minister position, Albert Kan Dapaah for Ministry for National Security, Gloria Akufo for Attorney General, Dominic Nitiwul for Defence Ministry and Ambrose Derry for Interior Ministry.
