Napo, Owusu Afriyie and others to be vetted today

Three Ministerial nominees announced by President Akufo-Addo will face Parliament’s Appointments Committee to be vetted today.

The nominees include Minister-designate of Education, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Minister-designate for Health, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu and Minister-designate for Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto.

In all, the Parliamentary Appointment Committee has vetted ten nominees out of thirty-six nominees announced by President Akufo-Addo.

Nominees already taking through the vetting process includes Hajia Alima MahamaMinistry for Local Government and Rural Development, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng Minister-designate of Trade, Energy Minister nominee, Boakye Agyarko and Foreign Minister-designate, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey .

Others include Ken Ofori-Atta for Finance Ministry, Osafo Marfo for Senior Minister position, Albert Kan Dapaah for Ministry for National Security, Gloria Akufo for Attorney General, Dominic Nitiwul for Defence Ministry and Ambrose Derry for Interior Ministry.
