Haruna Iddrisu Finally Speaks on Ayariga’s Bribery Allegation

Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, has promised to submit himself to full investigations in the infamous bribery scandal that has rocked the appointment committee.

The Minority Leader made this known during the vetting of Hon. Akoto Osei, Minister-designate for Monitoring evaluation today.

He said: “I will support the full investigation to establish the veracity or otherwise any matter that bothers on parliament. I expect the speaker and the leadership of parliament to take up the matter and conduct full investigations”.

Bawku Central Member of Parliament is alleging that the Minister of Energy through the appointments Committee chairman tried bribing members with three thousand cedis each to approve his vetting.

The Member of Parliament with the support of two other Minority MPs, Alhassan Suhuyini and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa have subsequently petitioned the Speaker of Parliament to thoroughly look into the matter.
