Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is currently on an inspection tour of Parliament following last night’s rainfall.
It follows media reports that parts of the chamber was leaking badly during the downpour.
A heavy storm accompanying rains yesterday ripped off some parts of the roof of the august house and left the chamber of the house leaking.
The situation forced the members, who were deliberating over a bill, to adjourn sitting.
The Vice President is visiting the House to receive a first-hand information on the extent of the damage.
