Contrary to reports in the local media that Ghana Premier league side Bolga All Stars have been sold, a1radioonline.com can authoritatively say that the team has not been sold as it is widely reported.

Reports on some news portals suggest that Bolga All Stars has been sold to a Techiman-based business man Nana Ameyaw and will be relocating to the Techiman Park for the rest of the season after which the name of the team will be changed.

But a1radioonline.com’s source at the football club has said that although owners of the team are in discussions to sell the team, a deal has not yet been reached.

“We have not reached any agreement with the buyer yet. We only had one conversation with him and he expressed interest in buying the team but we have not had detailed discussions about the amount we will be selling the team,” our source said.

Meanwhile, Bolga All Stars have written to the Premier League Board to move their home match against Kumasi Asante Kotoko from the Tamale Utrecht Park which has been their adopted home since the start of the league.

Bolga All Stars have recorded just a single win although the Ghana Premier league is five games old and are fifteenth on the league log.
