Some members of the New Patriotic Party in Builsa North have demonstrated over the nomination of their Constituency Chairman, David Afoko for the position of the District Chief Executive.
According to the angry Party members, they received the news as a shock immediately the 212 names were release by the President on Wednesday April 26.
Speaking in an interview with a1radioonline.com, an angry Constituency Youth Organizer of the Party, Achawie Johnson said, the name of David Afoko wasn’t even part of the last two names sent to President for the selection.
“We are shock with the nomination, because two names were sent to the President for nomination after the vetting and they are, Charles Abachinsa and James Anamunik, so we believe they manipulated it, because David Afoko did not even qualify from the regional level.” He narrated
However, they have registered their displeasure to the Regional Minister Hon. Rockson Bukari through a demonstration.
