Ustarz Umar Spearheads U/E Regional MASLOC

The current chairman of finance committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Bawku Central Constituency, Ustarz Umar has assumed office as Upper East Regional manager of Microfinance and Small Loans Center (MASLOC).

Mr. Umar in a statement copied to A1radioonline.com pledged to utilize his office in reducing poverty in the region to its minimum as part of MASLOC core objectives. In order to achieve this, job creation and the growing and developing of small and micro business the newly regional boss has earmarked to embark in eradicating poverty in the region.

MASLOC provides micro and small loans for start-ups and small businesses with fast, easy and accessible microcredit and small loans to grow and expand their businesses as well to enhance job and wealth creation.

The new regional manager in the statement expressed his gratitude to the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for reposing his trust in him to man the affairs of the institution in the region despite the “numerous hardworking patriots that are equally qualified, in some cases more qualified and far more deserving” than he is.

While thanking elders of the elephant party and the public for their unflinching support, Mr. Umar admonished all and sundry to eschew personal and selfish interest but work as cohorts of success “to the realization for the mission of the Akufo Addo-Bawumia administration”

The new Upper East regional MASLOC manager pledged of an opened door policy to the enhancement of the living conditions of the people in the region.

Until his appointment, he was an accountant with the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) in Bawku and chairman of Ansarul Islam, a network of Muslims in Bawku and neighboring districts and towns.
