Real Bolga United FC has appointed Chartered Accountant Prosper Awuni Ayinbilla as its new President as the club prepares for the 2026/2027 football season.
Mr Awuni, who works with the Ministry of Finance, takes over the leadership of the WeBelieve Lads with a professional background in finance and an interest in football and youth development.
His appointment comes as Real Bolga United seeks to strengthen its administration, player development and relationship with communities and corporate partners.
The club has in recent years focused on identifying and developing young footballers, particularly talents from the Upper East Region, and providing them with opportunities to progress in the sport.
Mr Awuni is also an advocate for youth empowerment and development, an area that aligns with the club’s focus on creating opportunities for young footballers.
As President, he will provide strategic leadership and work with management, the technical team, players, supporters and partners as the club participates in the 2026/2027 football season.
His professional background in accounting and finance is also expected to contribute to the club’s financial planning, administration and efforts to develop sustainable partnerships.
Real Bolga United says its focus under the new leadership will include youth development, discipline, talent identification, community engagement and sustainable growth.
The club is hoping Mr Awuni’s appointment will help strengthen its structures as it seeks to develop both its football operations and its role in creating opportunities for young people in the Upper East Region.
