Aspiring New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for the Builsa South Constituency, Daniel Gariba has said the falsehood being peddled against him by his opponents is a clear indication that he is a great force they have to reckon with in the upcoming elections.

According to him, his campaign has been very effective in Builsa South and that has sent shivers down the spine of his opponents who know that the seat is going to be taken away from them come December 7.

Mr. Gariba has been accused by the National Democratic Congress of defrauding customers of his micro-finance company following failure to pay their claims.

“It has been going on well and I can tell you it is the reason why all this noise is being made. They know the chances I have, they know that seat is getting out of their hands. The NDC has two candidates representing in the constituency and that is not a worry to me. The non-performance and the ineptitude on the part of the people who are contesting with me is so clear to the people so the people of Builsa South have made up their mind for Daniel Garibah,” he said on A1 Radio’s Day Break Upper East show, Wednesday.

He mentioned that his opponents have been struck with the reality that his message has resonated well with the constituents although he is challenged financially indicating that his opponents quest to buy the conscience of people with money is not working.

“They have the resources and they are running around trying to use money to influence the people but anywhere they go Daniel Gariba is on the lips of the people. This is the reason why they have worked anything so that he will not go through but God has worked everything to get him to climb the Parliamentary seat come December 7.”

Daniel Gariba is in a peculiar race for the Builsa South seat with two contenders who are both members of government. The seat is currently occupied by PNC’s Alhassan Azong who doubles as a Minister of State and Presidential Staffer Clement Apak.
