At 12:30 PM, only two people were able to register at the Bolgatanga East District Electoral Commission office.
The challenge is attributed to the late arrival of the verification codes.
According to the EC, they are optimistic that going forward, the situation will change for the better and become smoother, but both political parties’ representatives at the center are worried about the situation.
Though the turnout at the center is very low, the EC believes it is because it is the first day for the exercise.
