Rapper, High Spirit has vowed to end the career of popular sound engineer, Azkonnah Beats, describing him as an unprofessional sound engineer.
There is a audio purported to be the voice of Azcona Beats circulating on social media, in the audio, Azcona is heard sounding a note of warning to all artistes in the region to desist from ‘dissing’ his artiste or him adding that he will be rough with anybody who dares him.
But speaking to Lexis on A1 Radio’s Sun Set Drive on Monday, High Spirit indicated that Azcona released that audio sending a barrage stern warning because he (HighSpirit) shared his song on BBT record label’s Whatsapp page.
He said Azcona used insulting words against him for sharing his song on their page saying “you cannot insult my artiste in a song and promote your song on the whatsapp page of my record label”.
He indicated that after he heard the audio recording from Azcona, he called the engineer so they could talk over the issue but Azcona labeled him as a fool and hanged up.
High Spirit said he was very disappointed in the sound engineer who he sees as a brother adding that he is “unprofessional and unreasonable”. He warned Azcona not to also talk about any of his artistes or he will end his already dead sound engineering career.
There seem to be tension brewing between various camps in the Upper East music industry. The tension emanates from the claim of Kingship by certain artistes and camps in a music industry which is growing at a tortoise pace.
