The flag bearer of the All People’s Congress (APC), Dr. Hassan Ayariga has said the appointment of Dr. Edward Mahama to the position of an Ambassador at large can be equated to that of an errand boy.

He stated that the NPP’s idea of all-inclusive governance is just a statement being made and that the appointment of Dr. Mahama should not be mistaken for the all-inclusive governance by Ghanaians.

He described the appointment of Dr. Mahama by the NPP government as that of engaging a friend in ones activities.

He explained that all-inclusive government does not distinguish people based on their political parties.

He indicated that an all-inclusive government gives opportunities to every Ghanaian that is competent and able to execute a particular task irrespective of the political party they belong to.

He concluded by restating that he has called the position an errand boy position because there is no such word as an errand man and since Dr. Mahama was not assigned an ambassadorial position to manage affairs between Ghana and a particular country but just to go to particular country as and when he is needed to go, he is literally doing the work of an errand boy for the New Patriotic Party.
