Speaking to Bolgatanga-based A1 Radio the group said “we did not want to talk about this but since it is out there let’s address this. We never had any contract with our former management; it is just by word of the mouth. We have parted ways now. We believe they have contributed to our growth but in a man’s life, someone will take you from one to two and another individual will take you from three to another level”.
The group indicated that their split with ‘Habour City Recordz’ was on mutual basis and that there is no bad blood existing between them.
Touching on the Ghana Music Industry, the group said “there is no industry in Ghana because there are no structures. There are only individuals who have invested into their art and are doing something for themselves. In Ghana, there are no investors in music and even the government does not support the creative arts so it is only some individual talents who are working for their life”.
