The slow growth of the entertainment industry in the Upper East region has been a worry to several players in the industry and although several efforts are pumped into it, the needed results is hardly achieved.

Event organisers, artiste managers, artistes and other stakeholders in the industry have always bemoaned the tortoise pace at which the industry is growing.

The latest to add his voice to the slow pace at which the industry is growing is artiste signed unto Upper East-based Record Label, Bozawi Entertainment, Gingsen.

According to him, frontliners in the industry have over the years not helped in opening up the space for other acts to grow.

To him, these individuals have over the years used the divide and conquer mechanism to promote their brands and that has not helped the industry in any way.

He told a1radioonline.com that “I think mostly its Because most people who are the frontliners of the industry do not for one reason or the other do industry promotional or upgrading stuff for the industry but for their own selfish gains and returns. Thus causing a division amongst themselves and people who even want to help the industry”.

Gingsen is billed to perform at the biggest pool event in the Upper East regional capital, Bolgatanga, Bozawi Wild Invasion pool party.

The event is the maiden pool event organised by Bozawi Entertainment. The event which will be taking place at the Tap Hotel in Soe will kick start the festive season.
