Ghana has moved one step up and is on 50th in the final monthly FIFA rankings for the year 2017.
The Black Stars also moved up to 8th on the African continent overtaking Nigeria.
Senegal remains the top-ranked in Africa above Tunisia.
The biggest movers were Vanuatu, who jumped 28 places to 157th in the world, with Nicaragua dropping 13 places to 119th in the world making them the worst movers.
Germany remains the highest ranked team in the world with Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium completing the top five.
