Workers of the University of Ghana are likely to be starved of cash as management have announced apparent delay of March salaries.
A letter dated 21st March, 2018 and signed by the Registrar, Mercy Haizel-Ashia said:” It’s not possible to borrow for a third month to pay salaries”
Management is under pressure regarding cash flow following the delay in the processing and the release of Compensation Subvention for January and February.
Nonetheless, management says it is working tirelessly to ensure the delay does not prolong.
