Ambassador Paulina Abayage, clears doubts over her eagerness to oust Joseph Kofi Adda

At least for New Patriotic Party members who have been jittering over Her Excellency Paulina Abayage contesting the Member of Parliament for the Navrongo Central Constituency, Joseph Kofi Adda, at the Party’s primaries, can now relax.

For now, she has not given any indication that, she is eager and anxious of contesting for the NPP’s Candidature in the Navrongo Central Constituency for the 2020 Parliamentary Election.

The Upper East Regional Minister designate and former Ambassador to Italy, Paulina Patience Abayage could not categorically announce whether or not she was interested in struggling over the NPP’s Candidature with the current Member of Parliament and Minister of Aviation, Joseph Kofi Adda.

At her vetting session with the Appointment Committee of Parliament on Monday, the Regional Minister designate said, it would be too early to start thinking about that and even act in a way that suggests that, she wants to wrestle over the NPP’s Candidature with Joseph Kofi Adda.

Member of Parliament for Tamale North, Alhassan Suhunyini, who is a member of the Appointment Committee of Parliament, asked Madam Paulina Abayage if she was interested in becoming a Member of Parliament for the Navrongo Central Constituency.

Meanwhile when the Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central constituency, Joseph Kofi Adda had to opportunity, he pleaded with the Regional Minister designate, to take the concerns of Widows seriously, if she is given the nod to become the substantive Regional Minister.
