The National Democratic Congress has had what it describes as successful National Delegates Congress at the fantasy Dome in Accra, despite some very few unfortunate incidents.

The Party says it is happy to have had the largest National Delegates congress in its history saying, “… it has been awesome. We are grateful to our members and supporters!” The NDC twitter account said.

Ghana’s largest opposition Party, the National Democratic Congress started the Delegates Congress on Saturday November 17 and as of 3:00pm on Sunday November 18, the Party was still in the process of collating figures to announce the winners of the various positions that were contested for.

Critics on social media have ridiculed the National Democratic Congress of not being able to handle a small number of a little over 9000 delegates and yet will not allow President Akufo Addo to have his peace to continue leading a country of over 28 million people.

Meanwhile James Agyenim-Boaten with handle @jagyenim, reacted to critics saying the National Democratic Congress did not promise to organise the fastest congress ever held in Ghana.

“We promised to organise the most credible and transparent congress to elect our National Officers. And that is what we have done. He twittered.

From all indications, the NDC is likely to end its National Delegates Congress after 6:00pm on Sunday, November 18, 2018.
